Simply download the lame.dll MP3 codec thingy and Goldwave will be able to save files to MP3. A quick search for lame.dll will reveal many sources - all free. The trial version of Goldwave allows something like 2000 uses before it runs out, so you can have it installed for ages. - By Mirkin |

It's absolutely a great program. very easy to use. I use it to copy LP's and tapes for making CD's. It's features eliminate analog noise, pops, clicks, hissing, etc. Not a resource hog. Learning curve for so much that's available can be steep but for simple tasks, give it a half hour and you'll buy it. It's absolutely worth the price. - By GN |

I have used GoldWave to turn my LP's into CD's. I think GoldWave is very easy to use, has lots of useful features for cleaning up and enhancing the recordings I have done, and would recommend it to anyone. Those who have had problems with it: the problem lies elsewhere, not with the program!! - By Troy |
